La Cuna black olive pâté is made with three natural ingredients: black olives, olive oil and oregano. Blended to a smooth purée, it’s delicious with crudités, crostini and picos (crunchy Spanish breadsticks). The pâté is made using a traditional recipe in Toledo in central Spain.
Serve this black olive pâté with Spanish cheese and charcuterie as a light snack or pre-dinner nibble. It adds rich umami flavour to pasta salads, flatbreads, sandwiches and sauces. Try spreading it on crostini and top it with a creamy cheese like Brie or burrata. You can even add a little pâté to your avocado toast or mix it with butter for basting grilled corn on the cob.
